The Peninsula Agency on Aging Advisory Council carries out advisory functions that
furthers the agency's mission of developing and coordinating community-based
systems of services for all older persons in our community. (45 CFR 1321.57).

The process of appointment: Potential members are solicited from local governuing bodies,
human service agencies, service providers, and the general public. Appointments to the
council are made by the PAA, Inc. Boards of Directors.

The Council meets the second Thursday of October, December, February, April, June
and August.
