Learn the overall health benefits of massage therapy as a means to reduce everyday stress, tension, and pain. Demonstration and simple at-home approaches to be presented to bring calm and a sense of relaxation to your life.

While it is difficult or anyone to know how it really feels to walk in the shoes of a person with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia, the Virtual Dementia Tour gets you very close to that reality.
- Friday, April 7, 2017: Keeping Your Loved One Safe
One of the most common caregiver questions is how to keep your loved one safe at home and in the community. Learn strategies for protecting loved ones and yourself and measures that have been put in place for such safety.
- Friday, May 5, 2017: Keys or No Keys is the Question
It’s important for caregivers to be aware and notice changes in driving behaviors of their loved ones. What can you do if driving has become a problem? Conversations are “key” with this topic.

Recurring Event – Chair Yoga & Meditation
Peninsula Agency on Aging has partnered with Breathing Space, Inc., a non-profit promoting mindful movement, to offer a weekly Chair Yoga class. People with chronic pain and challenges with balance are welcome.
Come alone or bring a friend. Family caregivers: Please bring your loved one.
This program is for adults age 60 and over. No registration is required and participation is FREE.
